Smithsonian Water/Ways Exhibit-Bisbee

Más Información

The Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum will dive into water--an essential component of life on our planet, environmentally, culturally, and historically--when it hosts the Water/Ways exhibit as part of the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum on Main Street traveling exhibition program. The exhibit will explore the impacts of water from the town’s origins as a lucrative mining center to its current status as a state leader in water quality and conservation efforts. The exhibit will feature related stories, activities, speakers and exhibits to bring Bisbee’s water story to life! The Smithsonian has partnered with Arizona Humanities, Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives, and the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies at Arizona State University to bring the exhibit to Arizona beginning in June 2018.
