The Studio Series of the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film and Television presents a new devised work. At the beginning of rehearsals for the new devised piece, the ensemble determines its central topic, does research, and uses contemporary devising practices to turn their research into a fresh theatrical experience for audiences. The scripting staging and design of the performance are all created during the rehearsal process. University of Arizona’s drama & theater arts program was ranked 33 out of 306 nationwide in a recent ranking of drama & theater arts degree programs offered by 4-year U.S. Colleges and Universities. This ranking by by College Factual makes Arizona one of the top programs in the U.S. to study drama & theater arts.
