This event brings together the science and art communities of Tucson to enjoy and be inspired by our universe. The Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona presents the fifth annual Art of Planetary Science, an exhibition of more than 200 pieces of art celebrating the beauty and elegance of our solar system. The exhibition features locally sourced works of art inspired by planetary science, alongside works created from scientific data. The opening reception is February 2 from 5-9p.m. , with additional hours February 3-4, from 1-5 p.m. The exhibition will be located on campus in the Kuiper Space Sciences building, just east of Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium, on the University of Arizona campus.
