Tucson Cine Mexico 2018 showcases the best in contemporary Mexican cinema. Established in 2004, the festival is a co-presentation of the Hanson Film Institute at the University of Arizona, and New York's Cinema Tropical. It is the longest-running festival of contemporary Mexican film in the United States. Each year, Tucson Cine Mexico hosts directors, producers, editors, actors and cinematographers of contemporary Mexican cinema. Filmmakers engage with audiences via moderated Q+As and panels. This year’s line-up features a mix of award-winning thrillers, comedies and documentaries.
