Lawrence Lee has been chosen to represent the annual Tubac Festival of the Arts! 

You may view the original artwork titled, “Moody Hues,” at Turquoise Tortoise, 5 Calle Baca in the Village of Tubac.  The original acrylic on canvas panel is 24×18″ unframed and with frame 31×25.”

Mr. Lee started selling his work in fine galleries in 1970 and became a full-time professional artist in 1979.  His work is represented in the permanent collections of many noted museums and corporations, as well as in thousands of private collections worldwide.  He accepted a coveted invitation to show in the Florence Biennale in Florence, Italy in 2023.  

Commemorative posters will be sold during the festival at Turquoise Tortoise, the Rotary Club of Tubac, The Tubac Historical Society, and Más y Más.  Each poster (18×24″), signed or unsigned, is $20.  During the festival, “Meet the Artist” at Turquoise Tortoise or the Rotary Club of Tubac booth Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday:

  • Turquoise Tortoise, 5 Calle Baca, 10 am to 12 pm

  • Rotary Club of Tubac booth, on Tubac Road by Lone Mountain Turquoise, 1 pm to 3 pm
